Past Events
Since 2001, Kelly has led customized wine tours
to Niagara, where guests are given private tours and tastings, exploring both
the small and larger wineries. In the evening, the wines are served with a
gourmet dinner designed to showcase each of the wines. The tours are a
unique opportunity to experience the best of Canadian wines!
Kelly has hosted many successful wine and food events. Here

Book Launch and Gala

In 1998 Ryan Hreljac had a simple wish. Build a well to help
children in Africa. This simple wish launched a dream of clean water
for everyone. In October 2006 Kelly, together with the Crowne
Plaza, organized the book launch and Gala for the book Ryan and
Jimmy: And the Well in Africa That Brought Them Together by
Herb Shoveller

Ice on Ice, Winterlude
and Ice Wine, uniquely Canadian!

This winemaker's dinner was a
celebration of ice wine, winters gift to wine
lovers everywhere! Appetizers created by the Crowne Plaza were matched with ice wines from featured Niagara wineries,
Vineland Estates, Fielding Estate, Reif Estates Winery, Peller Estates and
Hillebrand. Dinner
followed with a uniquely Canadian menu created by Executive Chef
Christopher Marz. Each of the five courses was paired with signature red and
white wines from the participating wineries.

Kelly led Leanne through a wine tasting, while Chef Willi Wetscher &
Sous Chef Christopher Marz of the Crowne Plaza prepared signature dishes
that were served at the Toasting Talent winemakers' dinner. 
A Moroccan Feast
October, 2004
Canadian Living Magazine hosted an exclusive fundraising dinner
in support of the Ottawa School Breakfast Program. Kelly participated in
selecting the wines for dinner and served as the Sommelier for the evening.
